After 25 years of giving us daily informative, educational, funny and touching stories (not to mention the happy headaches)... Oprah finally said goodbye on television. It's been four days since Oprah's final episode and I bet lots and lots of people are starting to develop the EOS or Empty Oprah Syndrome. It is like you have lost a friend or someone dear to you who you can share your secrets, open up your feelings and ideas without being judged.

Oh, well, we can still see her in OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) and we can still read her updates at oprah.com and through her Twitter account (@oprah).

Who isn't?!

I am not a fan of country music but hearing Scotty McCreery sing those makes me think otherwise. He's just so great! I love his deep voice. He will go miles with that gift.

So, now I am scared  for Thia.

Congratulations to Akihiro Sato for being the Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown winner!

He got 3 votes from the jury beating Solenn and Ervic with 2 votes each.  Akihiro took home 3 million pesos.

I miss South Park!  My best bud in college and I watch it whenever time permits... she even impersonate Kenny.  Haha!  I miss the hilarity, the controversial topics, the uncensored criticisms and the wit.  I think it is just rightful that Time Magazine said it is one of the greatest shows of all time.

Take Me With You Oprah!

Oprah surprised her studio audiences (as usual) with the most unexpected gift... a trip to Australia for 7 days!  I always dreamed of watching the Oprah Show, I just love her... she inspires me to excel in everything that I do and return the favor to the people who have helped me in my journey.

Oprah, if by any chance you will read this (your staffs, too), please take me with you!  I hate to see your show end without me watching you live in your studio.

90210

Today is September 2, 2010 or 9-02-10 which coincidentally can also stand for the popular hit teen series during the 90s--Beverly Hills 90210.

I was only 8 years old then when Brandon, Brenda, Kelly, Dylan, Steve, Andrea, Donna, David and Valerie invaded our television sets and since then everyone, including my then 11-year old sister, went gaga over the 'it' gang of Beverly Hills High.

Our Aunts were already living in the US when it all began and we would have regular supply of 90210 goodies--from pencils to posters--that we proudly show off to our friends.  Yes, you bet, Brandon was my favorite while my sister crushes on Dylan.  The biggest poster that our Aunt managed to send us was a face shot of Brandon that we hung in our room, it was purposely placed to where it would be the first that we will see each time we wake up. 

I could not imagine why an 8-year old kid such as I would watch such a rather adult genre show.  Nevertheless, the TV show made my childhood a lot more memorable.  I could still remember the giggles each time the camera focuses on our crush.
