I Woke Up Crying, Again

I woke up crying again.

I will not go into the details of my dream. All I can share with you is that the feeling was so intense that I actually felt tears roll down my cheeks and I was sobbing non-stop.

Dream Moods Dictionary interpreted this type of dream as:

"signifies release of negative emotions that is more likely caused by some waking situation rather than the events of the dream itself... it is a way to regain some emotional balance and to safely let out your fears and frustrations... to wake up crying represents some suppressed hurt or previous trauma that is coming up to the surface. You can no longer suppress these emotions. They need to be dealt with head on."

Dream Interpretation: Falling Hair

My weirdest dream of all time is about my hair falling out. I could not remember the details of my dream but it is the falling hair that stuck into my head.

According to Analyse Dreams, dreaming that your hair is falling out means that you may be concerned about the way you look and feel about yourself. You may be worried about getting older and you are preoccupied with your appearance and the aging process. It could also mean that you fear of losing strength like Samson. Try to re-examine yourself and concentrate on your good qualities and try not to focus on the things that you cannot change.

I have to admit that Analyse Dreams is correct. I have been thinking about my age lately and how I miss doing things that I used to do when I was younger.

Death in Dream

I had another scary and weird dream the other night. I dreamed about someone I know and in my dream she witnessed how she will die.

She lives in a duplex with his husband. One day they had a huge fight, they were arguing about something I could not understand. The woman walked out of their house but her husband is trying to stop her. When she finally  got out of the house, she heard weird noises from the other door. When the woman turned around, she saw herself inside the other house, she was screaming while another person was stabbing her to death.

I woke up and I heard a message tone from my cellphone. Somebody died.

According to Dream Moods, dreaming of seeing another person's death signifies that your feelings for that person are dead or that a significant change or loss is occurring in your relationship with that person. Metaphorically, dying may mean as an end or termination of your old ways and habits.

I was crying when I woke up

Photo from here.
I was crying when I woke up this morning.

It was because of a dream involving a grandmother, my sister and a classmate in college.

Inside my sister's house, I saw her talking to our grandmother.  I could not see the face of the old woman but I know she is our grandmother.  She was showing a passbook to my sister and telling her that it's her lifetime's savings.  I could not tell the exact amount but I am sure it is more than $2M.  I was shocked upon hearing the amount.  I kept on listening with our grandmother's story and her next few words were more shocking than the size of her bank account. She will give her savings to another person... not my sister, not me... my classmate in college.  I will not anymore mention the name but it was really her... right there on the paper, straight from our grandmother's mouth.  I was furious.  I had a lot of questions.  Why would our grandmother show the account to my sister and tell her on her face that she will not get it?  Why would she give it to my classmate?  Are we related?  I saw my sister's face changed color.  We met in the eye and I bet she's asking the same questions. When I saw tears starting to well on my sister's eyes, I turned my back on her and went inside my house.  I remember I was screaming and saying things but I could not anymore remember the words. Inside my house, my tears started to fall down. I was really hurt. I was sobbing. I really felt bad.

To wake up crying, as interpreted by Dream Moods, means some suppressed hurt or previous trauma that is coming out of the surface. These emotions could no longer be suppressed and therefore must be dealt with head on.

Crying in dream means that you are trying to regain emotional balance and to safely release fears and frustrations that you could not release in your waking life.

Did you ever experience waking up crying?

Take Me With You Oprah!

Oprah surprised her studio audiences (as usual) with the most unexpected gift... a trip to Australia for 7 days!  I always dreamed of watching the Oprah Show, I just love her... she inspires me to excel in everything that I do and return the favor to the people who have helped me in my journey.

Oprah, if by any chance you will read this (your staffs, too), please take me with you!  I hate to see your show end without me watching you live in your studio.

Dream Interpretation: Broken Doorknob and Peeping Toms

I could not remember exactly what my dream was, all I could remember was the broken doorknob of my bedroom.  I take a look and I saw unfamiliar faces peeping through a hole.

"Being locked in a room and the doorknob is missing or broken can mean you're feeling trapped, at a dead end, or unempowered in your life somehow."  - As interpreted by The Curious Dreamer

"To dream that you are being watched, suggests that you are feeling confined in your work environment or personal relationship.  You feel you are lacking a sense of privacy." - As interpreted by Dream Moods
