Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Something to look forward to in cinemas this month is Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, of course, with Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) leading the group of pirates and Angelica (Penelope Cruz) in the search for the Fountain of Youth.

Cars 2 Sneak Preview

My son will go bonkers when he hears that his favorite Lighting McQueen and Tow Mater will be back in the big screen for Cars 2. I am actually excited because we will watch this on our next movie date.

Brad and Angie's Public Display of Affection

A little public display of affection won't hurt and besides we rarely see photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt snuggling each other.  This squeezing Angie's butt is surprising but hey, it somehow confirms that the rumors of them splitting are not true.

Salt

Yipee!  Salt is now showing!  I can' wait to see Angie kick some ass.  I could not remember when was the last time I saw her doing stunts... Mr. & Mrs. Smith perhaps.  Anyway, several months ago I said to my friend that I will not miss this movie and I was so excited about it that I went to the cinema two weeks ago to watch it without confirming if it is already showing.  Haha!  I went home after realizing that once again, I have made a blunder.

Katy Perry's Smurfs Look

When Katy Perry arrived at the MTV Movie Awards, we are all in awe of her Smurf-like look.  Guys, you don't need to wonder no more because there is an explanation for her get-up.  This is just in, The Smurfs will make a comeback, but this time, on the big screen... and guess what, Katy Perry will lend her voice to  the yellow-haired Smurfette!  Katy opted to wear a blue wig because for all we know, that yellow/blonde wig was already worn by Lady Gaga.  So guys, it was all an early promotion of Katy Perry's new gig.

Hallelujah Avatar!

Avatar replaced Titanic as the King of the (Movie) World earning as much as $1.895 billion and not only that, China has officially renamed their mountain Southern Sky Column to Avatar Hallelujah Mountain.

The Chinese government actually said the Hallelujah Mountains of Pandora were actually the Southern Sky Column as a Hollywood photographer spent time taking pictures of the mountain back in 2008.

We all know we couldn't be in Pandora but at least we could go to Zhangjiajie, China to see in awe this amazing work of nature.  If you are interested, you can book your flight here.
