Have you ever been in love?

A woman went to a church to pray. Her prayer was simple. She said, "I wanted to be happy." The next day, while out with some friends, she had the weirdest experience. The moment she glanced at her best guy pal, as if being sucked into a vortex, she remembered all the happy times she had with the guy. She suddenly realized that happiness is just right in front of her all these years... and it took her 16 years to realize that.

Sometimes, even before we even say our prayers, they were already answered... And when we're just too occupied to even realize that, the Heaven intervenes in the most amazing way.

The two are now together, building more happy memories.

Goodbye My Lover by James Blunt

Shucks! Still aching. It is not easy but I will get by. How long has it been? Seems like forever.

***************************

Did I disappoint you or let you down?
Should I be feeling guilty or let the judges frown?
'Cause I saw the end before we'd begun,
Yes I saw you were blinded and I knew I had won.
So I took what's mine by eternal right.
Took your soul out into the night.
It may be over but it won't stop there,
I am here for you if you'd only care.
You touched my heart you touched my soul.
You changed my life and all my goals.
And love is blind and that I knew when,
My heart was blinded by you.
I've kissed your lips and held your hand.
Shared your dreams and shared your bed.
I know you well, I know your smell.
I've been addicted to you.

Chorus (2x)
Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.

I am a dreamer and when I wake,
You can't break my spirit - it's my dreams you take.

And as you move on, remember me,
Remember us and all we used to be
I've seen you cry, I've seen you smile.
I've watched you sleeping for a while.
I'd be the father of your child.
I'd spend a lifetime with you.
I know your fears and you know mine.
We've had our doubts but now we're fine,
And I love you, I swear that's true.
I cannot live without you.

Chorus (2x)
Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.

And I still hold your hand in mine.
In mine when I'm asleep.
And I will bear my soul in time,
When I'm kneeling at your feet.

Chorus (2x)
Goodbye my lover.
Goodbye my friend.
You have been the one.
You have been the one for me.

Outro (2x)
I'm so hollow, baby, I'm so hollow.
I'm so, I'm so, I'm so hollow.

The Old Songs by Barry Manilow

I found some old cassette tapes in my great grandmother's house the other day. Apparently, those tapes, including a Barry Manilow collection, are mine. I bought them when I was in college and listened to them while studying for major exams.

Here is one of my favorite Barry Manilow songs--The Old Songs. Enjoy listening.

Finally! Lady Gaga and Maria Aragon Born This Way Duet

Finally! Lady Gaga and Maria Aragon had their duet in Toronto. This video gave me double goosebumps. I am so very proud of this girl. Lady Gaga seems like a really cool big sister. I hope there'll be more of this.

Enjoy watching!

Roll-up Piano

$58 at Fred Flare.

I miss playing the piano but my piano is in my grandmother's house. I left it there when I moved into a new house because there's no way I can fit it into anywhere in my tiny house. I was delighted to know that there is actually a roll-up piano that works like the real thing.

You just lay it on a flat surface and you are ready to play.

It can be rolled neatly when your fingers get tired of playing.

This flexible roll-up piano definitely goes in to my wishlist. *Wink*

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Aside from City of Angels, Moulin Rouge is also one of my favorite movies of all time. I watched it solo when I was in college and I just cried at how the story ended. Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman were such great couple on screen. After ten years, Ewan and Nicole's song Come What May still makes me teary eyed.

Just the Way You Are by Barry White

Just trying to relax here.

One comment on You Tube about this video made me laugh, though.

"Millions of people all over the world were conceived while their parents danced in bed listening to Barry White."

Who knew?

My Early Christmas Greetings

Have yourself a merry little Christmas...  Let your heart be light.

This is a sign that I am already having Christmas jitters.  Eleven days left.

My early Christmas greetings to you.

XOXO

Last Song Syndrome: Separate Lives

I have a last song syndrome... Phil Collin's Separate Lives.  It's not really the last song that I heard but it is the song that keeps on singing in my head.  No qualms. I love the song.  I think it is one of the best duets ever and the saddest.  I never grow tired listening to it.  Thank goodness the hormonal imbalance has just passed.

Feeling Mushy and It Is Not Yet Valentines

I am feeling mushy today because I heard again John O'Banion's song I Don't Want To Lose Your Love.  I first heard it when I was in college because of my aunt's collection of Cruisin' CDs.  I really like the lyrics and the emotion behind it.  This is the song that made him win the Tokyo Music Festival Award in 1982.  The song was later revived by several artists.  John died in 1990 because of blunt head trauma from a car accident.

Listen and enjoy.

Justin Bieber Nail Polish???

Seriously?

I wouldn't mind Taylor Swift or Miley Cyrus launching nail polishes, they're girls who normally color their nails in pink or black... but, Justin Bieber?  WTF?!

My niece will be shocked and she'd probably be the first one to buy her very own.  She's such a Bieber fan that she cried about the ONN news that Justin Bieber is actually a 51-year old pedophile.  Haha!

What's Bieber trying to prove?

Justin Bieber hair gel sounds more appropriate to me than Justin Bieber nail polish.  Do you think he has glittered nail polish, too?  OMG!  I want him to personally put it on my nails.

Charice on Glee!

This gave me goosebumps.

Glee has an exchange student from the Philippines named Sunshine Corazon and  Rachel is not so happy about her singing.

I am going to download Charice and Lea's version of Telephone, like, right now!

Green Day: 21 Guns

I noticed that my cousin has a new cellphone so I immediately checked out its specs.  It was a Samsung Corby, the one that I was supposed to buy if Monte is not available after one week.  Anyway, I asked her what are the songs in her phone... there are plenty.  I chose Green Day's Twenty-One Guns for her to send me via bluetooth.  I am kinda late when it comes to downloading songs, forgive me, but it is better to be late than sorry.  Here is the song.

Pyramid by Charice

I am so proud of this girl. After being a runner-up to a singing competition in the Philippines, guesting to Oprah's show and having a duet with her idol Celine Dion... she is now taking the world by storm with her self-titled album carrying the Billboard hit single Pyramid.  You go girl!

Where The Wind Blows

I got curious if there is a song that is entitled Where The Wind Blows and guess what???  There is, and it was sung by Seven Little Sisters, a folk band in the UK.  I haven't heard of the band but here is their song.
